Tribute to: BOILERPLATE - History's Mechanical Marvel.

My tribute to Boilerplate, built in 1893 for the self proclaimed purpose of 'Preventing the deaths of men in the conflicts of nations'. Sadly the mechanical marvel went missing in combat during WW1. He has since been lost to history. More here.

-Thanks so much for the comment from original creator, Paul Guinan!
BoilerplateRobot.com is Boilerplate's homepage.

Nice piece, thanks for the tribute! It's fun to see my creation take on a life of its own.

Nice! Boilerplate is a rad robot, bought the book a couple years back at comic-con. Great stuff, and nice work on the drawing!
